How to manage school's waste

  • As we all know that garbage or waste is able to make our environment looks dirty and uncomfortable. The large-scale of waste also create unhealthy environment and unpleasant smell. There are two types of waste; they are organic and non-organic waste. Organic waste is a waste which is easily to be separated by bacteria and microbe, for example: remaining food, fruits, and vegetables. While non-organic waste is hard to be separated, for example: plastic, glass bottle, cardboard, used iron.
At this moment, I will discuss the wastes that are produced by the students of SMAK Kolese Santo Yusup Malang (Saint Joseph Catholic Senior High School), or many people in Malang called it as SMA Hua-Ind or KOSAYU. I am one of the students here in KOSAYU. SMAK Kolese Santo Yusup Malang consists of thousands students plus the teachers and staffs. The amount of waste, of course, is abundantly produced. A large amount of waste needs a better way to manage them, if it doesn’t those wastes will create a severe pollution at school’s environment.
There are some ways on how to manage waste at SMAK Kolose Santo Yusup Malang:
    1. Providing two types of dustbin which differentiate between organic and non-organic-garbage. Actually, providing two types of dustbin has been done for long time, but students are having less attention about it. Because the students’ lack of attention to the using of organic and non-organic dustbin, they often discard the wastes without paying any attention to the type of the waste, for example: they don’t dispose the organic waste in organic dustbin, but the dispose it in non-organic dustbin. That’s why, the awareness of students are really required.
    2. Non-organic garbage is coming from plastic bottles, used paper, and used can. The garbage will be useful if it is transformed to be creative things, such as flower from used paper or used can, bag from used plastic, etc. Besides, we can apply the used things for class accessory or for the decoration in the school events.
    3. However, to make all of that happened; it needs a big support from school, like adding some lesson that has relation with environment and creativity in its curriculum. By having deep understanding on how to take care our environment, it automatically will open the students’ mind on how to manage the waste so that it can be useful and help to preserve our environment. Like I said before that we can transform the used things to be something useful, such as: bag from used plastic or paper, instead of disposing them. If we have already made a many handcrafts from used things, we can sell those handcrafts in school event, like school’s performing arts or PELANGI BANGSAKU. Plus, we also need to create such an art competition which the students must create handcrafts that have economic value.  to become the useful things will increase. Besides, school needs to prepare one special room to keep and collect the student’s art works from used things. It is important to show to the public that the students of SMAK Kolese Santo Yusup Malang are not only great in academic subject, but they also have a great By doing this, the students’ interest in converting the waste creativity.

Greatest super hero dog

Greatest super hero dog? yes, at this part of my blog I will explain for you about dogs which use in films, comics, or science fiction which become a super hero dog..wow what amazing it!!

1. Dynomutt

Dynomutt may only be the robot sidekick of Hanna-Barbera's Blue Falcon, but the short lived TV show was named for the dog, not the multi-millionaire socialite/vigilante who fights crime in a costume. As a robot filled with gadgetry and expandable limbs, Dynomutt was spectacularly incompetent — but always helped to get the villain.

2. Hong Kong Phooey

Hong-Kong Phooey is the alter-ego of Penrod Pooch, a mild-mannered police station janitor. Whenever he hears of a crime he ducks into a filing cabinet, changes into his Hong Kong Phooey costume, hops in his "Phooeymobile" and races to stop the bad guys with his "Hong Kong Book of Kung Fu."

3. Lockjaw

Lockjaw looks like a bulldog. But not a whole lot of bulldogs are giant. And telepathic. And capable of teleportation. And a superhero. After an encounter with Mr. Fantastic, Lockjaw decides to search for the Infinity Gems (which were once part of the Infinity Gauntlet, for those keeping track at home). He leaves his cushy life as a royal pet, and gathers a team of animal superheroes (including a sabertooth tiger and Thorg, the Thor Frog).
After many adventures –- including stranding Thanos in an alternate dimension and being swallowed by a whale — Lockjaw and his team find all the Infinity Gems, and are able to give them to Mr. Fantastic. And Lockjaw becomes the leader of The Pet Avengers.

4. K-9

K-9, Doctor Who's robot companion not only shows up on the TARDIS, he was also on The Sarah Jane Adventures. He starred in his own series of books, sans The Doctor, and even has his own TV show in Australia. In his eponymous show, K-9 travels to 2050 where he, a mad scientists and some teenagers protect the world from alien invasions and battle a dystopian governmental agency, "The Department." Also, K-9 gets the ability to fly!

5. Krypto

Debuting just a few months before Ace the Bathound, Krypto the Superdog was Kal-El's pet on Krypton. Jor-El used him as a test subject for a proto-type rocket bassinet he would send to Earth with Kal-El inside. But Krypto got lost in space and did not return to Clark Kent's side until CK was Superboy. He's foiled bad guys alongside Superman, and joined both the Legion of Super-Pets and the Space Canine Patrol Agents.
He's got all of Superman's powers, human level intelligence and he's even got a disguise! As the Kent's dog Skip he has patches of his fur dyed brown that he burns off with his laser vision when he becomes Krypto.

6. Hyperdog

Sergeant Kemlo Caesar is a super intelligent Doberman in an exo-suit that lets him walk like a person and have hands. He's also one of Neopolis's finest, the police who work in a city totally populated by superheroes in Alan Moore's Top Ten. Not only does Caesar track down and arrest the Libra Serial Killer, he also convinces all the officers to stay, after they're forced to sign loyalty oaths. He holds his super-powered police force together, and he eventually makes Major!

Hey everyone, at this part of my blog I want tell you about one of a species dog, that is Siberian Husky. I will tell you about the description, temprament, height, weight, health problems, and Life Expectancy.

1. Desccription

Siberian Huskies are strong, compact, working sled dogs. The medium-sized head is in proportion to the body, with a muzzle that is equal in length to the skull, with a well-defined stop. The color of the nose depends upon the color of the dog's coat. It is black in gray, tan or black dogs, liver in copper dogs and flesh-colored in pure white dogs. The medium-sized, oval-shaped eyes are moderately spaced and come in blue, brown, amber or any combination thereof.
Eyes can be half blue and half brown , or dogs can have one blue eye and one brown eye. The erect ears are triangular in shape, and set high up on the head. The teeth meet in a scissors bite. The tail is carried over the back in a sickle curve, not curved to either side when the dog is excited. The large "snow shoe" feet have hair between the toes to help keep them warm and for gripping on ice. Dewclaws are sometimes removed. The medium-length, double coat is thick and can withstand temperatures as low as -58° to -76° F (-50° to -60° C).
Coat colors include all, from black to pure white, with or without markings on the head. The face mask and underbody are usually white, and the remaining coat any color. Examples of common colors are black and white, red and white, brown, gray and white, silver, wolf-gray, sable and white, red-orange with black tips, dark gray and white. Piebald is a very common coat pattern.

2. Temprament

Siberian Huskies are loving, gentle, playful, happy-go-lucky dogs that are fond of their families. Keen, docile, social, relaxed and rather casual, this is a high-energy dog, especially when young. Good with children and friendly with strangers, they are not watchdogs, for they bark little and love everyone.  Huskies are very intelligent and trainable, but they will only obey a command if they see the human is stronger minded than themselves. If the handler does not display leadership, they will not see the point in obeying. Training takes patience, consistency and an understanding of the Arctic dog character.
If you are not this dog’s 100% firm, confident, consistent pack leader, he will take advantage, becoming willful and mischievous. Huskies make an excellent jogging companion, as long as it is not too hot. Huskies may be difficult to housebreak. This breed likes to howl and gets bored easily. Does not do well if left alone  for a long period of time without a great deal of exercise beforehand. A lonely Husky, or a Husky that does not get enough mental and physical exercise can be very destructive. Remember that the Husky is a sled dog in heart and soul.
It is good with other pets if raised with them from puppyhood. Huskies are thrifty eaters and need less food than you might expect. This breed likes to roam. Siberian Huskies can make wonderful companions for people who are aware of what to expect from these beautiful and intelligent animals and are willing to put the time and energy into them.

3. Height and Weight

Height: Males 21 - 23½ inches (53 - 60 cm) Females 20 - 22 inches (51 - 56 cm)
Weight: Males 45 - 60 pounds (20½ - 27kg) Females 35 - 50 pounds (16 - 22½ kg)

4. Health Problems

Prone to hip dysplasia, ectopy (displacement of the urethra), eye issues such as juvenile cataracts, PRA (primarily in male dogs), corneal dystrophy and crystalline corneal opacities. Breeders can get hip screenings from the OFA and eye screenings yearly from a canine ophthalmologist (AVCO) and register the exam through CERF and SHOR). Also prone to a skin issue known as zinc responsive dermatitis, which improves by giving zinc supplements.

5. Life Expectancy

About 12-15 years.
