Indonesian Dog Breeders Registry (IDBR)

       Hey friends,
In this part, I will discuss the Indonesian Dog Breeders Registry (IDBR). IDBR is an institution that is established on 2010 whth the purpose of giving the easiness for all the American Pit Bull Terrier’s owners and breeders to register their dog. Unfortunately, not many APBT’s owners and breeders register their dog because their dog does not have any official genealogy which means the dog doesn’t have any unclear ancestor. However, IDBR can accept the registration process for the APBT with pure blood from its ancestor.

The aim of this certified registry is to increase the quality and the value of American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) among dog lovers. It also offers the tracking of genealogy for the APBT in order to give some legacy evidence to some certain dogs since they may become a pet from many different owners. If you register your dog in IDBR, as an owner, you will accept the official certificate with complete genealogy of your dog.

This institution also has program called “PIT BULL PARTY and COMPETITION”. It is held in some cities in Indonesia. This program was held in Bandung on October 2nd, 2011 at Lapangan Abadi Lembang.

 THE AMAZING FACTS OF DOG

Hey friends, do you know that the dog is an amazing animal? They have many uniqe facts and uniqe stories. In this part, I will share everything about the unique facts of dog. You can believe them or not about, but it's amazing!!!

  1. All dogs can be traced back 40 million years ago to an animal called the Miacis that lived in trees and wild animal's place. The Miacis later turned into the Tomarctus, a direct relative of the genus Canis, which includes the wolf and jackal as well as the dog.
  2. Ancient Egyptians treat their dogs respectively. When a pet dog would die, the owners shaved off their eyebrows, spread the mud in their hair, and cried it aloud for days.
  3. A dog’s shoulder are separated from the rest of the skeleton to allow flexibility for running.
  4. Puppies are sometimes rejected by their mother if they are born by cesarean and cleaned up before being given back to her.
  5. The phrase “raining cats and dogs” originated in seventeenth-century England. During heavy rainstorms, many homeless animals would drown and float down the streets, giving the appearance that it had actually rained cats and dogs.
  6. During the Middle Ages, Great Danes and Mastiffs were sometimes suited with armor and spiked collars to enter a battle or to defend supply caravans.
  7. Pekingese and Japanese Chins were so important in the ancient Far East that they had their own servants and were carried around trade routes as gifts for kings and emperors. Pekingese were even worshipped in the temples of China for centuries.
  8. After the fall of Rome, human survival often became more important than breeding and training dogs. Legends of werewolves emerged during this time as abandoned dogs traveling in packs commonly roamed streets and terrified villagers.
  9. During the Middle Ages, mixed breeds of peasants’ dogs were required to wear blocks around their necks to keep them from breeding with noble hunting dogs. Purebred dogs were very expensive and hunting became the province of the rich.
  10. The shape of a dog’s face suggests how long it will live. Dogs with sharp, pointed faces that look more like wolves typically live longer. Dogs with very flat faces, such as bulldogs, often have shorter lives.

The Golden Retriever

The Golden Retriever

Golden Retrivier Puppies
The Golden Retriever comes from England (1800's) and was bred originally to hunt small game - retrieving. This dog is classified as one of the Sporting Dog Group which we go on to describe in detail in the section at the bottom of this page. The Golden Retriever was first Registered by the AKC (American Kennel Club) in 1925.
Name Facts and Dog Names: This dog's name is often referred to as the Gold Retriever although Goldenretriever and Golden Labrador Retriever is also used. The word Retriever is often mis-spelt as Retriver, Retrever and Retreiver.
The Golden Retriever is believed to descend from the old Black Wavy coated retriever which is known to occasionally have produced yellow, or gold, puppies. Much of the improvement to the breed can be attributed to Lord Tweedmouth at the end of the 19th century, the breed drew considerable attention when they were first being exhibited in 1908. There is believed to be elements of the Newfoundland, setter and spaniel in this breed. There is a story that the Golden Retriever actually originates from 8 Russian Sheepdogs who performed in a Circus Troupe - although it is impossible to find any historic evidence of this legend.
The Golden Retriever's coat is normally a shade of gold or cream. The coat is normally flat or wavy, dense with a waterproof undercoat.
The life expectancy for this particular breed is 10 – 12 years.
