In this part, I will discuss the Indonesian Dog Breeders Registry (IDBR). IDBR is an institution that is established on 2010 whth the purpose of giving the easiness for all the American Pit Bull Terrier’s owners and breeders to register their dog. Unfortunately, not many APBT’s owners and breeders register their dog because their dog does not have any official genealogy which means the dog doesn’t have any unclear ancestor. However, IDBR can accept the registration process for the APBT with pure blood from its ancestor.
The aim of this certified registry is to increase the quality and the value of American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) among dog lovers. It also offers the tracking of genealogy for the APBT in order to give some legacy evidence to some certain dogs since they may become a pet from many different owners. If you register your dog in IDBR, as an owner, you will accept the official certificate with complete genealogy of your dog.
This institution also has program called “PIT BULL PARTY and COMPETITION”. It is held in some cities in Indonesia. This program was held in Bandung on October 2nd, 2011 at Lapangan Abadi Lembang.
